14 September 2017 - 01 October 2017
Following last year’s success, Grade II listed German Gymnasium will be teaming up with Rothaus Brewery from the Black Forest, Germany. From Thursday 14 September until Sunday 1 October, Oktoberfest will be residing in North London’s, King’s Cross.
Echoing the annual Oktoberfest festivities in Southern Germany, German Gymnasium’s own celebration will take place on the restaurant’s alfresco terrace. Here guests can enjoy several beers on tap, as well as a selection of traditional barreled beer supplied by Black Forest Beers including; Fest Bier Rothaus Märzen, Rothaus Hefeweizen and Rothaus Pils.
The naturally unpasteurised, high quality beers are considered the quintessential Black Forest beverage – and of course, the beers will be served in Oktoberfest’s much-loved large steins.
The Oktoberfest menu will be available on the terrace, which will be decorated with customary long wooden tables and benches for the two weeks.
To celebrate the launch, German Gymnasium is hosting a party on 14 September (5.30-9.30pm), which will include an oompha band, O’zapf of the first beer keg and waiters dressed in traditional Lederhose and Dirndl dresses.
Please note – Bookings cannot be made for the terrace, it will operate on a first come first serve basis.
