Sekt wine tasting

26 June 2017

Join us for a sparkling evening of German Sekt on Monday 26th June, from 6-8pm.  Wines of Germany and our head sommelier Charlotte Lamouroux will host an exclusive Sekt tasting, showcasing some of the best sparkling wine from Germany.

The Germans know their fizz – in fact, they consume around 300million litres of bubbly a year. Since the first German sparkling wine house was founded in 1824 by ex-Veuve Clicquot worker Georg Kessler, Sekt has been a staple of German wine drinking. In fact, it is one of their best kept secrets.
